Have a read of what one of our graduates had to say after completing the
Brandon Raynor Massage Certificate in NSW:
1. Did you enjoy the NSW massage course?
I had so much fun the teachers were friendly and humorous. I was a little nervous at first but as soon as all the students started massaging one another there was an instant connection in the group. We were all glowing because we felt so good after having a massage everyday during the course. Lots of laughter, which I enjoy.

2. Where you already an experienced therapist before you attended the massage training course?
No not at all. I was working as a Mental Health Nurse at the time and had wanted to be a massage therapist for a long time. It was the right timing for me so I took some annual leave from my job and after 10 days I was a qualified massage therapist and a member of the International Natural Therapist Association and felt really proud of my achievement.

3. When you started massaging the public after the massage course in NSW, did you feel confident?
Yes I did. The way the Massage course is structured is that on the last day the teachers invite members of the public along so the students can be assessed so I felt confident upon graduation because I had already experienced massaging the public in a secure classroom situation.

4. What was the response of the public, did your clients comment on the massage?
Funnily enough my first client was a professional massage therapist so I was really interested in his feedback. He said that I was very professional and all the tension was relieved from his body and he would be interested to do the course himself.

5. Do you have insurance coverage for your business?
With full INTA membership, my Brandon Raynor School of Natural Therapies Diploma, Senior Fist Aid Certificate and Insurance I can offer health rebates to my clients from some Health Funds.

6. What are your massage rates?
I am in a rural area so I rang around other therapists to find the average massage rates and I charge $ 77 for an hour and a half. You can charge more depending on your local area.

7. What do you like best about being a massage therapist?
The creativity and healing that happens with my clients. I have combined my Massage practice with a counseling service and offer my clients alternative therapies to manage stress in their lives. I have developed my own website with the assistance of a company called AUSTCOM who provide support to small businesses to network in their local community.
