"Prior
to doing your massage course in
VIC I was working part time massaging,
doing relaxation therapy, so it
has definitely opened new door's
for me. A client I massage every
Friday night for $50 came last Friday
said it was the best massage he's
had and to my surprise he had left
me $80 instead of $50. There has
been some really positive feed back
from my client's and I love what
I'm doing, every massage I do I
feel is better than the last and
I learn something new every time
as every body is different, so yes
the course was great.
Thank you".

their massage career after completing our course:

Did
you enjoy the massage course?
Yes, it was a fabulous course, and
it came to me when I was ready to
embrace some positive changes in relation
to my vocational career path. I was
so excited about being able to participate
and couldn't wait to commence.
As I recall that particular
year had been a huge year of growth
for me in many ways, firstly my full
time role at a Financial Services
organisation had been made redundant,
so I was able to turn this seemingly
negative time into a more positive
one and after looking within myself
I decided to follow my heart and booked
in to Brandon Raynor's Remedial Massage
course here in Melbourne. So here
I was, universally I had been given
this time so I was to put it to good
use, and as always things always happen
at their right time!
I love to learn and this
was no exception, Brandon and Rebecca
are awesome teachers, I felt really
blessed to have crossed paths with
them. I recall another special Healer
/Teacher from earlier on who had so
wisely advised me, "Jeannette
if you are going to learn something,
learn from the best - a Master of
his/her craft."
This was the case, and I
loved learning from Brandon and Rebecca,
I felt so comfortable with their format
of teaching, it suited me, and I always
looked forward to each and every class.
The people I met on the course were
fabulous too, I really felt at home
there. By the time it came to the
assessment I was wondering what to
expect, but when I found out that
we were to be assessed by massaging
either Brandon or Rebecca, I had hoped
it would be Brandon, wanting to be
even more challenged -which would
ultimately help me gain more confidence
with the massage skills I had been
taught. At the end of the course I
really felt confident enough to take
my work to the next level and excitedly
started to set up my home clinic.
Great school, great teachers, great
course and a great pathway to Massage
and Healing excellence.
Were you already
an experienced therapist before you
attended the massage training course?
Yes, my subtle energy healing gifts
came to me while I was studying Zen
Do Kai Martial Arts, and not knowing
how to fully utilise them I decided
to learn more about subtle energy
healing work. I thus trained in a
few modalities namely Reiki, Ki Force
and EM (Energy Movement). I had been
practicing for quite a while before
deciding to take these skills to a
new level and incorporate Massage,
so as to be able to work with my clients
on many levels. This has proven to
be such a wise decision and I have
been blessed to have had many great
clients seek my assistance for their
health and wellbeing needs.
Did you feel confident when
you started massaging the public after
the massage certificate course?
Yes, I did feel confident, as I had
been practicing during the course
on family and friends. But now with
more skills to work with I was certain
that I would be given the opportunity
to use them.
What was the response
of the public after the massage course
in Melbourne, did you feel confident?
Well, I couldn't wait to try out my
new skills, and I do recall that the
first client I had booked in was a
young racing car driver who had answered
an advertisement I had placed in the
Living Now magazine, he enjoyed the
massage so much he asked if I could
extend the hour booking to an hour
an a half., which I was only too happy
to do for him.
Then as time went on I have
had many other clients who were also
very happy with the massage they had
received and they always left my clinic
feeling and looking heaps better than
when they arrived. I am very grateful
for their patronage and some to this
very day are still coming along for
their regular Massage and or Reiki
sessions.
Do you have Insurance
coverage for your business?
I really don't need to have this at
this stage, as I really only work
my clinic part time, and most of the
people I have the honour to work with
are happy with my services and I don't
overstate my skill's or do I ever
go beyond my depth of knowledge, and
if I find I cannot massage someone
for some reason, if they need more
professional medical advice for example,
I usually sort this all out by asking
all my clients when they make the
initial appointment to fill in some
medical history forms along with the
usual information that I require to
keep for my records. I do though as
far as rebates are concerned offer
these clients a discount on my services,
and they are very happy with this
arrangement so far. I do offer at
times Gift Vouchers and also free
or discounted treatments to clients
who recommend others to my clinic.
This has proven to be very successful
and to this day one of my regular
clients has referred many women by
giving them a gift voucher for my
services, and that is so nice of her,
I always reward her generously for
introducing some amazing people to
my work.
What are your massage
rates?
I have a home based clinic where I
have been able to create a very special
healing room that has a beautiful
energy where I can work in harmony
and my healing rates are $50.00 per
hour, which allows the people who
really need to come and see me afford
to do so.
What do you like
best about being a massage therapist?
I love the interaction
and the opportunity to work with the
most wonderful people, both as a therapist
and as a student. I am very honoured
to do this work and I am sure that
as time progresses and I develop my
skills through further study the more
I will be able to help and assist
many others with their health and
wellbeing along with fulfilling my
world service to the planet and for
world peace. So the best thing I love
about being a massage practitioner
is that I have helped and will continue
to help many people feel GREAT!
Love, Light and Happiness always,
Jeannette A Jackson
